STILLWATER — It would have been hard to imagine hearing a defensive coordinator say this about Parnell Motley two years ago.
“He’s one of those guys we struggle to take off the field,” Oklahoma’s Alex Grinch said Saturday night after the Sooners’ 34-16 Bedlam win.
Two years ago, Mike Stoops couldn’t get Motley off the field fast enough against Oklahoma State as he lost his job to not one but two true freshmen during the course of a defensive meltdown in Stillwater.
But where he trudged off the field in the last meeting, Motley bounced off of it Saturday.
