NORMAN — Parnell Motley is the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Motley forced two and recovered one fumble in the Sooners' win over Oklahoma State and made an interception in the second half of the game. He also recorded six tackles on the night.
The interception against the Cowboys was Motley's first of the season, but he had the chance to have a second one earlier in the game that was called back because he was out-of-bounds.
Motley has recorded 34 total tackles this season and 169 tackles in his career as a Sooner.
