His quarterback refers to him as a “silent assassin.”
Lee Morris has gone from being a largely unknown walk-on when he arrived to a fan, coach and teammate favorite heading into his Senior Day against TCU on Saturday (7 p.m., Fox).
Morris’ backstory certainly endeared him to some, but the way he’s operated since he arrived has broadened his appeal.
“He’s been one of our most unselfish players for the entire time he’s been here,” Sooners coach Lincoln Riley said.
