NORMAN — Redshirt senior wide receiver Lee Morris’s grandparents, Lee Morris Sr. and Gwen Morris, were honored during Oklahoma’s game against TCU on Saturday night.
The Sooners honor a season ticket holder during every home game, and this week it was Gwen and Morris Sr. Both their son, Lee Morris Jr., and grandson, Morris, have played for Oklahoma.
Morris’ grandparents have been Sooners season ticket holders since 1974.
Morris Jr. lettered at Oklahoma in 1985 and ‘86. He was a walk-on and eventually put on scholarship. Morris was also a walk-on until the 2018 season when he was put on scholarship after the season opener.
