NORMAN — Kennedy Brooks questioned if his season was over when he took an illegal hit to the knee Sept. 28 against Texas Tech.
The Oklahoma running back addressed his injury scare Tuesday for the first time.
"Getting hit in the knee, that’s the first thing you think of," Brooks said of the potential for a serious injury. "My knee was hurting. I got trucked and it was good."

The sophomore was held out for the rest of the Texas Tech game and missed the Kansas game the next week.
