NORMAN — Jamar Cain's hire as OU's outside linebackers coach is official.
The 40-year-old comes to Norman after spending last season coaching the defensive line at Arizona State.
Prior to that, he was Fresno State's defensive line coach for two season and spent three seasons coaching defensive ends at North Dakota State.
Cain helped Arizona State put together a 2020 recruiting class ranked No. 25 in Rivals.com's rankings.
"I'm really excited to bring Jamar on board," Sooners coach Lincoln Riley said in a release. "He's a talented coach who's gained tremendous experience early in his career.
