NORMAN — Togetherness.
It's the thing that's jumped out to senior quarterback Jalen Hurts the most recently. The Sooners have started to realize the importance of playing for one another, he said.
"We have complete trust in everybody on offense, everybody that touches the field," Hurts said. "Everybody’s all into the team and doing whatever it takes."
Coach Lincoln Riley said this team "definitely" has togetherness. It has developed over time, Hurts said, and it has come from everyone holding each other accountable at practice.
"We got a good group of leaders that spear-head that, and you definitely sense it with this team," Riley said.
