NORMAN — Beth Ann and Marc Niketas have been looking forward to Sept. 26, 2020 for more than a decade.
It’s been nearly 11 years since Oklahoma and Army announced a two-game series, with the Black Knights visiting Norman in 2018 and the Sooners set to return the trip two years later.
Wednesday, the day after New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo told reporters that college games could be played in the fall in the state, but only without fans, Beth Ann still maintained a bit of optimism.
“We haven’t canceled our reservations, our hotel or anything,” Beth Ann said.
