To those OU fans who had written off the Sooners' chances of reaching the national Final Four after their loss to Texas last week, ABC analyst Ray Bentley offered a dissenting opinion after OU's dominating 55-0 victory over Kansas State on Saturday afternoon.
Looking at a graphic that showed OU's remaining schedule, Bentley said, “It actually sets up quite nicely for the Sooners. They are right in the midst with that schedule of being one of the final four. They need to sustain the momentum and the way they approached things this week and performed this afternoon.”
For the first half, he said, “That was clean and as smooth of a performance on both sides of the ball.
