DALLAS — Dede Westbrook isn't a guy who likes to talk about himself.
Even for a guy whose Twitter handle begins with “Dede the Great,” the Oklahoma receiver's not much for talking about his own accomplishments, even after a record-setting 232-yard, 10-catch, three-touchdown game in the 45-40 win against Texas on Saturday.
But even if Westbrook didn't want to toot his own horn, his teammates and coaches were more than willing to extol the senior wide receiver.
“He had a huge day,” said running back Samaje Perine, who had a big day himself. “Getting Baker (Mayfield) to connect with Dede, it is hard to stop guys like that.
