Chip Kelly, after his UCLA team fell to Oklahoma 48-14 on Saturday night, grouped OU quarterback Jalen Hurts with Kyler Murray and Andrew Luck as one of the best college quarterbacks he's ever faced.
"He’s a special player, as good as I’ve ever had the opportunity to coach against," Kelly told reporters.
Kelly has coached football for the last 28 years. He spent four seasons as Oregon's coach from 2009-12. This is his second year at UCLA.
Hurts completed 15 of 20 passes for 289 yards and three touchdowns against the Bruins. He rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown on 14 attempts.
