OU football: Calum Sutherland arrested for public intoxication

Oklahoma kicker Calum Sutherland was arrested early Saturday morning on a public intoxication charge, according to the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office.

Sutherland was booked into the Cleveland County Jail at 4:46 a.m. Saturday. He appears to have been released as of Saturday morning.

OU has yet to provide a statement on Sutherland's arrest.

The sophomore walk-on from Keller, Texas won the starting place kicking job in the offseason. Sutherland made his first two career field goals last Saturday against UCLA.

The OU Daily was first to report Sutherland's arrest.
