AMES, Iowa — It was another tough night for OU in its 37-30 loss to Iowa State on Saturday at Jack Trice Stadium.

Best celebration: When Breece Hall picked up a first down in the closing seconds to officially seal what already nearly was a sure win, Iowa State tight end Charlie Kolar high-stepped down the field and clapped in an excited manner. It was a big night for Kolar, the Norman North alum and matchup nightmare for the Sooners. The easy response is the Sooners let a good one good away, and they did, but OU signed Grant Calcaterra and Jeremiah Hall in Kolar’s class, so it’s hard to get too upset about that for OU.
