OU fans support Stoops in face of criticism

DALLAS — From Mesquite to Fort Worth, from Denton to Duncanville, football fans have flooded the Metroplex. Just like always when the universities of Oklahoma and Texas bring their teams to meet halfway, in the Texas State Fair's Cotton Bowl.

But this year, the excitement is a little tempered. Both the Sooners and Longhorns are 2-2. And OU hasn't played well in this series for three straight years.
