NORMAN — Bedlam basketball will be televised in Spanish for the first time at 1 p.m. Saturday, and former Sooner Eduardo Najera will be on the call as an analyst.
Najera is 10th on OU's all-time scoring list. He played for the Sooners from 1996-2000 before a 12-year NBA career.
Najera lives in Dallas and works as a college scout for the Dallas Mavericks.
The Oklahoman caught up with him before OU and OSU tipped off.
Q: When did OU approach you to join its first Spanish television broadcast?
Najera: "It's always great to be a part of any event here at the University of Oklahoma.
