NORMAN — Long after the fifth annual Legends Alumni Game was over, Buddy Hield remained on the court at Lloyd Noble Center, signing autographs and taking pictures with fans of all ages.
There were plenty of Oklahoma legends that played or coached in the game — guys like Alvan Adams and Darryl “Choo” Kennedy among others.
But there was no doubt who the star of the day was.
“It was fun just being out here and seeing the old players,” Hield said.
Hield, who is entering his senior season, decided to stay with the Sooners for one final season, hoping for not only an improved body of work for NBA scouts but also to make a Final Four before his time in Norman is done.
