Across the street from Alabama's practice fields and football offices in Tuscaloosa is the Hotel Capstone. This is where the Crimson Tide's new assistants came together in January.
They didn't need conference space or meeting rooms. They needed a home. They were the "Capstone Crew," as wide receivers coach Josh Gattis put it.
"That was some of our best times as coaches," he said. "We would do the same routine every day: Wake up, go to work, come home and eat dinner in the bar area together. We would bond. If someone needed to go wash clothes, we'd all go to the Laundromat together.
