A recent post on a message board on a site that covers Texas A&M went viral and created hope among Sooner Nation that Oklahoma quarterback John Mateer will be back from a throwing hand injury in time to play Texas in the Red River Rivalry on Oct. 11.

According to the post from the user "OklahomaSooner Ag," Mateer was at Chipotle in Norman on Monday night when a restaurant worked asked Mateer about his hand injury.
