In what could have been a trap game sandwiched between two massive games for the Oklahoma Sooners, Temple head coach K.C. Keeler gifted the Sooners some bulletin board material to make sure the Owls are not overlooked.
First, during his weekly press conference, Keeler put a target on OU quarterback John Mateer when asked about his dual-threat ability, saying, "When he pulls the ball down and becomes a running back, he has to pay the price.”
Then, trying to find his own bulletin board material, Keeler took offense to local media not asking OU head coach Brent Venables about Temple.
