After upsetting Alabama 23-21 on Saturday in Tuscaloosa, the Oklahoma Sooners should experience a major boost in the next College Football Playoff Rankings that will be revealed at 7:30 p.m. CT Tuesday on ESPN.
The upset already propelled the Sooners in both major polls. OU went from No. 11 to No. 8 in the AP Top 25 and No. 10 to No. 8 in the Coaches Poll on Sunday. Although the polls aren't related to the CFP rankings, it was a good sign for where the Sooners could end up, particularly ahead of Notre Dame and Alabama.
