On Tuesday, at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, the Oklahoma Sooners defeated the Illinois Fighting Illini, 3-2 in the quarterfinals of the 2021 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship.

After Illinois’ Adrien Dumont de Chassart secured his team’s first point of the day over OU’s Patrick Welch, the Sooners claimed three of the next four matches to advance to the semifinal round.
