The Oklahoma Sooners haven’t lost back-to-back regular season games in almost two decades, and Lincoln Riley and company weren’t going to let that streak end today. OU’s 52-27 victory over the TCU Horned Frogs was notable because it was the Sooners first game with Ruffin McNeill calling the shots as defensive coordinator. Minus a couple breakdowns in the secondary, the Sooners’ defense looked impressive in it’s first Mike Stoops-less game.
Kyler Murray made another strong statement in his Heisman campaign. He was nearly perfect through the air completing 19/24 passes for 213 yards and four touchdowns.
