The first official Associated Press Poll of the 2019 college football season has been revealed, and the Oklahoma Sooners are opening as the nation’s No. 4 team. It’s the highest preseason ranking for OU since entering 2016 third in the country. Oddly enough, the first opponent on this fall’s schedule is also the same as it was three years ago — the Houston Cougars. The more things change, the more things stay the same, right?
