Saturday was the annual "Meet the Sooners Day" put on by the Oklahoma football team where fans get the opportunity to mingle with the players, seek autographs, and pose for photos. Afterwards, the coaching staff had a media session to provide the first updates since practice started. Here's a few nuggets from the media session.
- Running back Joe Mixon was notably absent from the session with the fans. It's certainly an understandable move by the coaching staff to hold him out but it begs the question as to what point Mixon will be able to fully participate in all of the team activities.
