Former Oklahoma Sooners outside linebacker Jon-Michael Terry is heading home to play for the Tulsa Golden Hurricane as a graduate transfer in 2021.
The Golden Hurricane is an excellent fit for Terry, not only because it brings the talented defender back home, but also because of TU DC/LBs coach Joseph Gillespie’s recent on-field successes. Notably, he helped shape star LB Zaven Collins into the winner of the 2020 Bronko Nagurski and Chuck Bednarik Awards, as well as a Unanimous All-American.
Terry, a Victory Christian alum out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, saw a steady rise in his role and production since arriving to Norman in 2016.
