After splitting its first two games at the PK80 Invitational in Portland, the Oklahoma Sooners ended the trip on a high note with a 90-80 victory over the Oregon Ducks. Freshman Trae Young was as incredible as he’s ever been, scoring 43 points and dishing out seven assists. Those 43 points were eight shy of the OU freshman record set by Waymon Tisdale in 1983.

Oklahoma led this one by a score of 48-40 at the half, but OU became cold and surrendered the lead with 10:21 remaining. However, Trae Young began to take over at that point and ended up scoring 30 points in the 2nd.
