According to a tweet from OU Athletics, the Oklahoma Sooners’ Dec. 2 game against the Florida Gators has been cancelled. The first game of the home-and-home agreement will be pushed to next season.
This is OU’s third consecutive game to be postponed or cancelled. Last week, it was announced that the Sooners’ first two contests against UTSA and UCF would be postponed due to positive COVID-19 tests and contact tracing within the program. No make-up date for either contest has been announced, and it seems highly unlikely that they will be played during this campaign.
