Oklahoma software developer tackles college football rankings

It's an amazing feeling when your life's work matches up with your life's passion. That's what happened to Jason W. Taylor, a software developer and college football diehard.

In today's paper, Jenni Carlson wrote her column about how Taylor's two biggest interests came together in a way he never expected. The College Football Playoff wanted his company to develop its new voting software.

So when Taylor got that email last year about landing the super-secret software bid, he was aware that the playoff was getting ready to replace the BCS. New ventures always need infrastructure, and the playoff was sure to need software for stats and evaluations and selections.
