A month before the start of the softball season, head coach Patty Gasso had a funny feeling about her Oklahoma Sooners. When asked about her expectations for this year’s group, she said “I think this is one of the strongest offenses that we’ve ever had. That is how I feel about this team’s potential.”
Fast-forward 22 games into the 2021 campaign, and Gasso looks like a bona fide prophet. Not only is OU currently undefeated and unanimously ranked atop every major poll in D-I softball, this bunch has made scoring truly look like child’s play.
