Oklahoma softball strengthened it case as the country’s undisputed No. 1 team for 2023 landing five players on the DI Softball All-America First Team and a couple more on the second team.
Named to the First-Team All-America squad were center fielder Jayda Coleman, second baseman Tiare Jennings, third baseman Alyssa Brito, catcher Kinzie Hansen and pitcher Jordy Bahl. Second-team selections from OU were utility player Haley Lee and team captain Grace Lyons.
The only positions you’d lack from fielding a complete team based on the Sooner All-America selections are a first baseman and an outfielder.
