Sooners win 16th straight game

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. — In its first extra-inning game of the season, No. 5/5 Oklahoma outlasted California State University Northridge, 2-1, in 11 innings on Monday.

Fale Aviu delivered the game-winning single in the top of the 11th that drove Jocelyn Alo in from first base for the Sooners 16th straight win.

Alo homered in the first for the Sooners. Paige Lowary and Paige Parker combined in the circle.

Lowary started the game, tossing four innings and surrendering one run on three hits.
