Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray is adding to his trophy case.
The future pro baseball player was honored with the Davey O'Brien Award on Thursday night at the College Football Awards Show. He also won AP National Player of the Year earlier in the day, and is considered the favorite to take home the Heisman Trophy on Saturday.
Murray beat out Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa and Washington State's Gardner Minshew for the honor.
Murray is having a historic season. He’s on pace to best Baker Mayfield’s all-time single-season passing efficiency mark, as well has his record yards per attempt benchmark.
