Oklahoma native who stayed home for Cowboys now eyeing Sooners move

A fan-favorite of Oklahoma State fans could soon be playing for the Cowboys’ Bedlam rival.

Collin Kennedy of 247Sports reported that OSU tight end Josh Ford, who entered the Transfer Portal after head coach Mike Gundy was fired, is expected to visit Oklahoma on Saturday when the Sooners host Ole Miss for a top-15 matchup.

Ford was immediately beloved by OSU fans as a Stillwater product who stayed home to play for the Cowboys. He then played in all 12 games as a freshman last year and started six times.
