NORMAN — Frank Shannon spoke to reporters after practice Tuesday, his first media session since the University of Oklahoma suspended the linebacker for a year after a Title IX sexual misconduct investigation.
Media were told Shannon would only answer “football questions,” but he still fielded a few questions about his year off and how he feels to be back.
“It was pretty tough,” Shannon said. “But at the same time, I always knew I was gonna come back. I just paid attention to a lot of the games while I was at home. Recorded a lot of games, watched them.
