Seven different OU gymnasts have earned a combined 16 regular season All-America honors from the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association. That is a program record for women’s gymnastics at Oklahoma.
The seven Sooners who received All-America recognition — seniors Brenna Dowell and Nicole Lehrmann, juniors Jade Degouveia and Maggie Nichols, sophomores Anastasia Webb and Carly Woodard and freshman Olivia Trautman — represent all four class levels, signifying the depth of talent on this OU squad.
Dowell, the Big 12 Gymnast of the Year, led Sooner women gymnasts with four All-America honors (first team in vault, floor and all-around and second team on uneven bars), and her teammate Webb garnered three selections (first team on beam and second team in vault and all-around).
