Senior Brad Dalke leads the Sooner foursome competing in the week-long amateur championship being contested at historic Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill Golf Course.
The OU golfers are among 312 amateur golfers who qualified for the annual event that on Sunday will crown the top amateur golfer in the country.
This will be Dalke’s ninth appearance in the U.S. Amateur. The 22-year-old finished as runner-up in 2016 at Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The Sooner senior is projected by Golfweek Digest as one of 10 players to watch in this year’s amateur championship.
