That was the same top-10 Oklahoma class that included five-star quarterback Spencer Rattler, the No. 1 player in the country at that position that same year. This was supposed to be the breakout year for Rattler and the three five-star receiving prospects from that 2019 class.
Nearly half-way through OU’s 2020 season, however, only Rattler and Wease have been available. And both played major contributing roles to the Sooners’ dramatic, four-overtime win over Texas this past weekend.
Missing in action from that prime-time trio of receiving talent in Oklahoma’s 2019 class are Jadon Hasselwood, from Ellenwood, Georgia (out with an ACL injury), and Trejan Bridges, from Carrollton, Texas (suspended).
