Oklahoma football: Sooners headed to CFP

Oklahoma football drew the No. 4 seed in the playoff and will take on No. 1 LSU in Georgia in the Peach Bowl.

This will be the fourth trip to the CFP for the Sooners, third straight and fourth in the last five years. Oklahoma is 0-3 in its three previous trips to the tournament, falling 37-17 to Clemson in 2015, 54-48 to Georgia in 2017 and 45-34 to Alabama last year.

The Tigers are making their first appearance.

Oklahoma finished 12-1 and is coming off a 30-23 victory over No. 7 Baylor in the Big 12 Championship game, the Sooners fifth-straight conference title.
