The addition of former Alabama quarterback and graduate transfer Jalen Hurts has no doubt added at least one-plus wins to what might have been the case otherwise for the Sooners looking ahead to next fall.
Sports columnist Berry Tramel of the Oklahoma City Oklahoman reports that sports handicapper BetOnline.AG has forecast the Sooners over/under win total at 10.5 next season. That is the third highest win total of any college team next season, trailing only reigning national champion Clemson and Alabama, which BetOnline lists at 11 wins in the 2019 season.
