Oklahoma football: Sooners add to receiving corps depth with UCLA WR

ESPN and other media outlets are reporting that UCLA wide receiver Theo Howard is transferring to Oklahoma for his final season of eligibility. As a graduate transfer, he will be able to play immediately in 2020.

Howard played in 33 games for UCLA. His best season was in 2018, when he caught 51 passes for 677 yards and four touchdowns. He averaged 13.3 yards per reception.

In three active seasons as a receiving target in the Bruins offensive attack, he had 119 catches for 1,359 yards and nine touchdowns. He missed all of the 2019 season with hand and wrist injuries.
