There are plenty of bronze statues situated around OU Memorial Stadium — five Heisman winners (with two more to come) and four legendary head coaches — and in the near future there will be one honoring OU’s most famous brother trio.
The names Lucious, Dewey and Lee Roy Selmon will forever be etched in Oklahoma football history. The Selmon brothers are three of the greatest defensive players to ever put on a Sooner uniform. And by sometime next year, their images will become a permanent part of the grounds just outside Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
