Oklahoma football: Riley confirms 3 suspensions

The Oklahoma football head coach recently confirmed the reports that have been circulating in the media for the past week, saying Perkins, Stevenson and Bridges will not participate in the upcoming national seminfinal in Atlanta.

Perkins appears to be the biggest loss for the Sooners. He has emerged as a star over the past few games with 38 tackles, 13.5 for loss and six sacks on the season.

Stevenson has become a staple in the OU backfield through the season, particularly since the loss of Tre Sermon to a season-ending injury. He has rushed for 515 yards and six touchdowns including the game-winner in overtime against Baylor in the Big 12 Championship Game.
