Oklahoma football: Penn State receiver Geno Lewis announces he will transfer to OU with immediate eligibility

NORMAN — Has Oklahoma found itself another Justin Brown?

Penn State wide receiver Geno Lewis — who has recorded 1,181 yards and eight touchdowns over the last three years — tweeted Monday morning that he will play his final season of eligibility at Oklahoma.

According to another tweet from Lewis, he will be immediately eligible as a graduate transfer in 2016.

An OU spokesman could not be immediately reached for comment.

Brown transferred to OU for the 2012 season with immediate eligibility in the aftermath of the Jerry Sandusky scandal.

In his only season as a Sooner, Brown caught 73 passes for 879 yards and five touchdowns — all career highs.
