In two seasons as the Sooners’ head coach, the former OU offensive coordinator has led Oklahoma to a combined record of 24-4, two consecutive appearances in the College Football Playoff and back-to-back Big 12 Championships. The Sooners have never finished out of first place in the Big 12 in the four years Riley has been at Oklahoma.
Oh, and did we mention that Oklahoma has won back-to-back Heisman Trophies (quarterbacks Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray) and produced the No. 1 overall pick in each of the last two NFL Drafts.
