Oklahoma football: Grad transfer helps shore up OU O-Line

Proctor — whose list of suitors included Ohio State, Texas, Florida State, Penn State and several others — will be immediately eligible to play once he enrolls in the university and should jump into the competition for a starting spot at one of the guard positions for Oklahoma football.

Proctor has 12 starts under his belt at Virginia despite battling injuries through most of last season, making him one of only two Sooners 2019 offensive linemen to have started a collegiate game. However, he brings more than just experience to the Sooners, he’s a talented player with deceptive quickness and a mean streak when it comes to run blocking.
