Oklahoma basketball: Turnovers, missed free throws sink Sooners

Kansas State (13-4, 3-2) raced out to an 8-0 advantage in the opening three minutes of the first half and had the Sooners on the heels from that point forward as Kansas State rolled to a 74-61 victory on Wednesday night at Lloyd Noble Center in Norman. Oklahoma never led in the game and trailed by as many as 17 points late in the second half.

The combination of seniors Brown and Dean Wade contributed 45 of the Wildcats’ 74 points in the game. Brown shot 11 of 19 from the field and was three of four from the three-point line to lead all scorers with 25.
