This one was agonizing. A missed opportunity in more ways than one.
Down three with 6.1 seconds remaining, the Oklahoma Sooners had possession, and the Texas Tech Red Raiders smartly decided to foul. De’Vion Harmon went to the line knowing he had to miss the back end. The first free throw was perfect, and so was the miss on the second one. In flew Victor Iwuakor, who snagged the rebound and drew the foul on the way back up.
Unfortunately, Iwuakor isn’t the most proficient free-throw shooter, and after missing the first, he had to miss the second.
