Oklahoma basketball: Sooner women snap 3-game losing skid

Senior Gabbi Ortiz scored a career-high 31 points, 24 of those coming on eight triples, as Oklahoma broke open a close game in the final four minutes to defeat 16th-ranked University of South Florida on Saturday afternoon at Lloyd Noble Center. Ortiz made 8 of 12 three balls and accounted for all eight of the Sooner treys in the game.

USF led 56-53 going into the fourth quarter, but the Sooners tied it at 65 with just under four minutes to go, and pulled away from there. The Sooners outscored USF 14-9 the rest of the way and posted a win over their first ranked opponent this season.
