After a week’s delay because of COVID issues, the Oklahoma basketball season will tip off the new season on Thursday.
The Sooners will host the University of Texas San Antonio at Lloyd Noble Center. These same two teams were originally scheduled to open the season on Nov. 25, but the game was postponed — as well as a game at Central Florida last Saturday and versus Florida at LNC on Wednesday — because of COVID-19 positive tests and contact tracing at OU.
