The Temple Owls will host Oklahoma on Saturday in a college football game to be played at Lincoln Financial Field, home of the reigning Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles.
Temple is one of five college programs that hold its home games at NFL stadiums. Affectionately known to locals simply as "The Linc," Lincoln Financial Field has been where Temple has played its home football games since 2003. The Linc holds around 68,000, but Temple averaged 13,919 fans last season. That's down from a five-year average attendance of around 22,000 fans.
Playing in an NFL Stadium is not really that unusual for Oklahoma.
